Day 15

……

I’m actually posting this on Sunday because I forgot to post this yesterday on Saturday…. Ooooppssss

Let’s see…

Yesterday I woke up and prepared my breakfast when my mother asked me if I could watch Sarah Lee so she could spend time with one of her close friends. I said ok, and that started my morning!

My Morning

I pretty much spent my morning in my office either reading or organizing something.

I got back into playing classical/instrumental music in the background while I work because the TV was too distracting. I still watched some news in-between a few activities just to see if anything crazy has happened but I’m trying to get back into the habit of non-verbal music to help keep me focused.


I can’t really think of anything significant that happened outside of normal things.

My Afternoon

I lost track of time because originally my mother was planning to come home before 2pm (when Sarah needed to be fed) but I guess she lost track of time too so when I looked at the clock it was like 2:45pm and I was like uhh crap!

I don’t think Sarah really cared though because I was actually taking a break from my normal work and was playing catch with her.

Actually I don’t think Sarah really cared much about anything yesterday because the weather was great so I left my window open in my room and she just sat all day looking out the window barking at anyone passing by, especially dogs getting walked lol

My Evening

So I was supposed to have dinner with Donaldo but he had an emergency come up so we rescheduled for Sunday at 2pm. I hope that goes through because I’ve been trying to have lunch with him for a while just to catch up and have fellowship!

When I realized that we weren’t going to have dinner I had to switch gears quickly or I knew I was going to go to sleep lol

I got dressed and headed to the gym! I did my normal stretches and hit the treadmill and then I started a leg day. Yeah… leg day lol

I won’t go into details but I’m proud of myself, I finally did some squats with a bench bar and after my 3 set, yeah… I felt muscles that haven’t been worked out in a LONG TIME!

After I did my leg exercises I found myself right back to the pull-up bar as usual lol I’m trying to incorporate my pull-ups and push-ups into my usually workouts at least 3 times a week and I’m trying to improve my form because I’m loosening my form way too much during the down motion that it’s affecting my shoulder. The adjustment to my form is fixing that problem but instead of being able to do 8 to 10 reps for 5 sets it’s turning into 6-8 reps for 3ish sets… It sucks but I know it’s the right thing to do.

After the gym I headed to Kroger and I super regretted not bringing a jacket with me! It felt great when I left the house but as the evening progressed yeah… it got cold again!

I grabbed some dinner on the way home, got home to eat, took a shower and then…. I forgot to post my blog that I’m doing right now because I decided to call it an early night and read my books until I went to bed.

So yup… that’s about it!

It’s now Sunday, I’ve had my light breakfast, gotten dressed and I’m going to have some quiet time until I go to church.
